We’re incredibly excited about the future. We move into it with great confidence, ready to face change head on. And to help you face it the same way. This Annual Meeting is trending to be the best one yet and we're looking forward to welcoming you all to beautiful Asheville, N.C.

ABOUT SERGG

The Southeastern Regional Genetics Group (SERGG) is a non-profit 501c3 whose members include healthcare professionals involved in genetic services and newborn screening in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

One of the goals of SERGG is to address the inequities in genetic service and resources in the region and to expand existing regional capabilities and resources and to develop new regional systems to address these gaps. Another goal is to improve the existing regional communication infrastructure and to facilitate information sharing among providers of genetic services and consumers and to establish collaborative partnerships with other professional organizations.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Southeastern Regional Genetics Group has a mission which includes:

● To enhance and promote the quality of genetic services in the Southeastern Region which includes the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

● To provide a forum for exchange of information among professionals who provide genetic services and the consumers of these services in the southeastern region of the United States.

● To receive and administer funds for coordinating genetic services and for furthering education about the delivery of genetic services.

● To interact with other regional and national genetic organizations.

● To arrange and promote proficiency testing and quality control in genetic services.

ABSTRACT TITLE (14 pt, uppercase, bold, Times New Roman) Author’s Names (12 pt, mixed case, Times New Roman, underscore presenting author) Affiliations (12 pt, italic, mixed case, Times New Roman)

Body (12 pt, mixed case, Times New Roman, not to exceed 250 words)

Any reference, figures and tables are unacceptable.

Ensure that the body of the abstract does not exceed 250 words in 12 pt mixed case Times New Roman.

Editing of abstracts post submission will not be possible, so ensure spelling, grammar and your data are correct before submission.

Abstracts must include 3 objectives for the presentation, a current CV and completed and signed Self Regional COI and NSGC COI of the presenting author at the time of submission in order to be accepted. Those submitted without these will not be considered. (See CME and CEU COI form page for PDF of forms)

STUDENTS WILL NEED TO SUBMIT PROOF OF STUDENT STATUS IN ADDITION TO COI FORMS FOR CONSIDERATION
